My one girlie weakness is painting my fingernails every week. I admitted on Instagram a couple of weeks ago that I think the array of colors is what really does me in. Even with all the colors available, it would still be fun to mix up a color that's completely your own. This quick tutorial from Delighted Momma shows you how to do just that. Yesterday, I had the chance to see crafty pal Luke Haynes' quilt show, The American Context: A New Look at Quilts, at the Eli Alexander Gallery right here in NYC.

I'd seen photos of his quilts before, but in person, the beauty, the attention to detail, and the sheer scale of his projects is really quite staggering. To give you a taste of level of skill we're talking about, here are a few photos from the gallery. Since Luke gave me the tour himself, I even got to take a peek at the backs of some of the quilts!
